What is Stream from Virgin Media?


Stream is Virgin Media’s brand-new streaming TV service that lets you pick and mix your entertainment every month – and only pay for the stuff you love. Just plug the Stream box into your TV to access faves like Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, and Netflix (if you subscribe), as well as all the TV channels and apps you can't live without (like BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and YouTube). Plus, search across all of them in one go with your voice.


Go wild: add stuff in, swap stuff out, cancel and uncancel every month – you’ll never get stuck paying for anything you don’t fancy. Plus, we’ll give you 10% credit back on the entertainment subscriptions you add to Stream.

Stream from Virgin Media: Virgin Media broadband required (min. 50 Mbps). Not available with other Virgin Media TV services. Compatible with Hub 3 and above. Stream box requires an HDMI cable connected to TV. HD TV set and a Stream box connected with HDMI cables required for viewing HD channels. Number of inclusive HD channels depends on package. 4K compatible TV/device required to watch Ultra HD. Stream box and remote remain property of Virgin Media.


There is no charge for the Stream service, but a one-off £35 Stream activation fee applies, along with charges & terms for each Stream subscription. Some Stream subscriptions require 30 days’ notice to cancel. New Virgin Media broadband customers subject to 18 month contract and set up fees may apply. See full details

Entertainment subscriptions

When you add a subscription to Stream, you’ll get access to the content immediately, which means you’ll lose your 14-day right to cancel once you’ve purchased the subscription.


Different subscription may have different cancellation periods. These will be set out in the terms and conditions, but please read your subscription terms carefully.


The channels and features available with your chosen subscription are subject to change. The price of your subscriptions may also change at any time during your contract. You will be notified of any price increases if and when they happen, and we will try to do this at least 30 days in advance of the change.
